Spinal motor atrophy mice (SMN delta 7 mice) and wild-type control hindlimb skeletal muscle tissue was used for transcriptome profiling by mRNA-seq. Overall design: Total RNA was used as input for Stranded mRNA library preparation. Sequencing libraries were sequenced for depth greater than 50 million reads and differential expression analysis was conducted using normalized counts with log 2 fold-change and adjusted p-value cutoffs for filtering.
