Genetic Effects in Response to Exercise and Diet-induced Weight-loss in Human Skeletal Muscle Tissues

Bulk RNA sequencing on paired skeletal muscle biopsies collected from participants before and after a 16-week weight loss intervention. Paired-end RNA sequencing was performed with four technical replicates per sample. The experimental design implemented a paired-sample strategy where matched Pre and Post skeletal muscle biopsies from each participant (n = 54 pairs) were processed and sequenced in the same batch to control for technical variation.
