Small RNA Sequencing of Different Blood Compartments

We studied microRNA levels in different blood compartments (erythrocytes, buffy coat, platelets (gel-filtrated or washed), PRP, PPP, and the supernatant of Convulxin-stimulated platelets). The aim of this study was to identify/confirm platelet-enriched miRNAs as biomarkers of platelet activation. Examination of microRNA levels in different blood compartments from four healthy donors.
