Map of the benthic stands of the Vilaine sector (source: EHRHOLD A., Blanchet A., Hamon D., 2008) — Scale: 1/2000 to 1/10000

This map of benthic stands in the subtidal zone of the Vilaine sector is the result of data processing, analysis and aggregation of: — A. EHRHOLD, A. Blanchet, D. Hamon de l’Ifremer (2004-2008). — SHOM bathymetric data. Two cross-sources of data acquisition were used: an on-board acoustic system (side-scan soundar), allowing the definition of first classes of acoustic signatures, corresponding to morpho-sedimentary units, supplemented by dump sampling campaigns (biological sedimentary samples). Habitat typology was developed by the following authors: D. Hamon, A. Blanchet, A. EHRHOLD.
