The COMPWALK-ACL dataset
收藏资源简介:
The COMPWALK-ACL dataset provides a comprehensive collection of lower limb kinematic data acquired using the Xsens Awinda IMU system from 92 participants, including healthy adults, healthy adolescents, and individuals with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury assessed both before and after surgical reconstruction. The dataset is designed to facilitate research on normative gait patterns across age groups, the biomechanical effects of ACL injury and recovery, and the development or validation of IMU-based gait analysis methods under varying walking speeds and clinical conditions. Key Features Participant Groups: Healthy adults (n=25) Healthy adolescents (n=27) ACL-deficient (ACLD) individuals pre-surgery (n=40), with 27 completing a follow-up three months post-reconstruction (ACLR) Walking Protocol: Overground walking at three self-selected speeds: slow, normal, and fast Each speed condition includes three consecutive trials per participant Data collected in a real-world corridor setting to ensure ecological validity File Formats: .mvnx files: Full-fidelity, structured time-series data for advanced biomechanical modeling .xlsx files: Flattened, tabular data suitable for statistical analysis ID.csv: Metadata file with participant demographics (age, sex, height, weight, injured side)
