Adaptation to number

This dataset contains behavioral data collected from 30 participants during a numerical adaptation experiment. Each participant’s data is stored in a MATLAB structure array named out{i} where i = 1 to 30. For each subject, out{i}.data is a table where each row corresponds to a single trial. The table includes the following columns: reference_n — Numerosity of the reference stimulus (12) test_n — Numerosity of the test stimulus adapter_n — Numerosity of the adapter stimulus (0, 6 or 24. Zero corresponds to the baseline condition, i.e., no adaptation) response — Participant’s response on that trial (0 or 1) confidence — Confidence rating (0 or 1) associated with the response RT — Reaction time (in seconds)
