Distribution of the number of children with disabilities by forms of disease (IC-10 classification), age and sex

Selected information about children with disabilities who have a positive decision of the State Medical Commission for Health and Work Ability Examination (VDEĀVK) on certain disability during the reporting period. The statistics are obtained from the welfare information system LabIS. The age of the child shall be determined at the end of the reference period or at the date of death of the person. Children – persons with the disability group name “Child person with disabilities” and age not exceeding 18 years. The report is drawn up by group of disease forms according to the classification of diseases and health problems (SSK10). The group of forms of the disease is determined for the basic diagnosis. During one reporting period, a person may have approached the VDEĀVK several times, respectively, one person may have several basic diagnoses. Year – the reference year for which the information was produced. Month – the reference month for which the information has been prepared. Children together – children with disabilities who have a positive decision by the VDEĀVK during the reference period. 18 years – persons for whom the disability group is determined as an adult person in the reference month.
