Resistance and resilience derived from different equations based on MODIS NDVI and EVI from 2001 to 2014.

This dataset compares resistance and resilience indices proposed by Isbell et al. (2015 _y) with resistance and resilience indices calculated using alternative equations (_i), based on MODIS NDVI and EVI. The alternative equations are: y_Resistance = 1 / ((VIm − VI(e)) + 1)y_Resilience = 1 / ((VIm − VI(e+1)) + 1) Here, VIm represents the mean VI value during years with average climatic conditions, and VI(e) represents the VI value in the target year. Average climatic conditions are defined as −0.67 < SPEI < 0.67.1_data_source.zip and 2_data_cached.zip are common settings for both equations.
