To gain a better understanding of the market demand for data connectors across cities in Sichuan Province, this dataset collects and calculates the price elasticity of demand for data connectors in each city of the province. If the percentage change in the demand for data connectors exceeds the percentage change in their price, the demand is categorized as price-elastic, meaning customers are highly sensitive to price fluctuations of data connectors. A greater elasticity value indicates higher sensitivity of demand to price changes. Under such circumstances, all enterprises in the industry can appropriately reduce the price of data connectors in the target city to achieve higher revenue. Conversely, if the demand for data connectors is price-inelastic, all enterprises in the industry can appropriately raise the price of data connectors in the target city to gain increased revenue. This dataset holds significant importance for the marketing decision-making of all enterprises operating in the data connector industry within Sichuan Province. 1. Data Collection: Collect monthly demand and price data of relevant data connectors, and organize and aggregate the data at the municipal level to derive the year-on-year changes in demand quantity and price of data connectors. 2. Algorithmic Rules: Calculate the demand elasticity coefficient using the following formula: Ed = -(ΔQ/Q) ÷ (ΔP/P). Where Q denotes the demand quantity of the product (unit: piece), P denotes the unit price of the product (unit: yuan), ΔQ represents the year-on-year change in demand quantity (unit: piece), and ΔP represents the year-on-year change in unit price (unit: yuan). Take the absolute value of the demand elasticity coefficient |Ed| as the reference indicator for data analysis. 3.
