ACROSS_LISA_CHIMERE_BCRatio_1H

The Black carbon Paris–to–regional ratio is a ratio based on the 2km CHIMERE v2020r3 (Menut et al., 2021) chemistry transport model simulation for the ACROSS campaign 2022. The objective is tracing the amount Black Carbon simulated in the Grand Paris metropolitan area of Paris (Grand-Orly Seine Bièvre, 2018) in order to be able to discern periods where the surroundings sites (e.g. SIRTA and Rambouillet) are under the influence of the anthropogenic Paris air mass. The ratio is expressed as BC_Paris/(BC_Paris+BC_regional), where BC_Paris stands for the concentrations coming from the Grand Paris domain, while BC_regional represents the BC concentrations coming from the simulated regional background and boundary conditions. A value of 0 means that all the BC is due to the regional background, while a value of 1 stands for a total BC concentration from the Paris metropolitan area. In this dataset you will find the 2D BCratio matrix covering the Ile de France region, as well as the BCRatio extraction over the SIRTA and Rambouillet sites with the temporal resolution of 1 hour. The 2D matrices of the regional BC and the Paris BC are also in the dataset.
