In this study, Pseudomonas mendocina MGAD-04, a phosphate-accumulating bacterium with the ability to perform heterotrophic nitrification-aerobic denitrification, was isolated from eutrophic lake sediments. The strain exhibited strong adaptability to various factors, such as carbon source, nitrogen source, C/N ration, P/N ratio, pH, and initial nitrogen concentration.
