POLLEN AND MACROELORAL ANALYSIS AT SITES AZ-P-60-116, AZ-P-60-118,AND AZ-P-60- 123, NORTHEASTERN ARIZONA

Samples from Sites AZ-P-60-116, AZ-P-60-118, andAZ-P-60-123 were examined for pollen and macrofloral remains. All three sites are located in the Puerco River drainage of northeastern Arizona, and represent Pueblo II and Pueblo III occupations, approximately 700-1200 AD. Samples were examined from several features at each site in order to identify subsistence activities.研究人员对AZ-P-60-116、AZ-P-60-118及AZ-P-60-123三处遗址的样本开展了孢粉与大植物遗存（macrofloral remains）鉴定分析。上述三处遗址均坐落于亚利桑那州东北部的普埃科河（Puerco River）流域，对应普韦布洛二期（Pueblo II）与普韦布洛三期（Pueblo III）人类居住遗存，年代大致为公元700年至1200年。为辨识遗址的生业活动模式，研究人员从每处遗址的多处考古遗迹中采集了分析样本。
