Number of suicides among high school students in Japan AY 2013-2022

High schools in Japan reported 269 suicide cases among their students in the academic year 2022, up from 251 in the previous year. The number of self-inflicted deaths among students has increased in recent years, with high school students accounting for the largest share of victims.
