Social Inclusion Composite Index: Dataset and R Code (2009–2024)

This repository contains the dataset and analysis code used to construct a composite indicator of social inclusion for 60 countries over the period 2009–2024.The dataset is compiled from World Bank open data and includes seven indicators covering income inequality, poverty, education, labour participation, healthcare access, and social policy quality. Missing values were handled using linear interpolation and forward/backward filling. The repository includes: cleaned and merged panel dataset (60 countries × 16 years = 960 observations); source code for data preprocessing, normalization, PCA, and K-means clustering; results of principal component analysis and clustering used to evaluate cross-country social inclusion patterns. The uploaded materials support reproducibility of the model described in the accompanying coursework on composite indicator construction.
