Granny Smith apples (Malus x domestica Borkh) grown in commercial orchards were harvested at physiological mature stage and maintained 6 months in cold storage with or without 1-MCP post-harvest treatment, and with or without enriched ozone atmosphere. The experimental design includs 8 samples in 4 comparisons with respectively 1-MCP, O3, 1-MCP+O3 treated fruits versus control fruits, and 1-MCP+O3 treated fruits versus O3 treated fruits, all after 6 months of cold storage. Each comparisons included two sampling repetitions with dye swich for each treatment or control fruits. Each sample included peel from 7 fruits.
