Physical workload workers; profession

This table contains data on the physical working conditions of the Dutch worker aged 15 to 75, by occupational level and occupation. The table presents figures on strength, noise and vibration, hazardous work and hazardous substances, working posture and screen work. As of the reporting year 2022, the method of data collection and processing of the NEA differs in some respects from previous reporting years. Such differences can have systematic effects on outcomes, making the figures from 2022 possibly not comparable to the figures until 2021. Status of the figures: Figures in this table are final. Amendments as of 18 April 2023: The annual figures for 2022 have been added.. In 2022, the question on working with hazardous substances has changed. These figures can be found in the new topic folder ‘Dangerous Substances (from 2022)’. As a result of these changes, the figures on this topic from 2022 onwards are not comparable to those from previous years (2014-2021). Figures on the old topic ‘Dangerous substances (until 2022)’ will not be supplemented from 2022 onwards. Finally, confidence intervals have been added in the table, and the minimum number of observations for publication has been changed from 200 to 100. Amendments as at 31 July 2020 In the ROA-CBS 2014 Professional Classification (BRC2014), a change has been made. In the new version of the BRC2014, profession group ‘0551 Managers znd’ is no longer classified by professional level ‘unknown’, but at professional level 4. This changes the results of occupational level ‘unknown’ and occupational level 4 for the years 2014 to 2018. Changes as of 29 August 2019 The figures belonging to the category ‘occupational level unknown’ were incorrect for 2014. For 2015 to 2017, these were unjustified as unknown, insufficiently reliable or secret. This has been corrected. In 2018, the question about dangerous work changed. For any form of dangerous work, the frequency is asked. It is derived from this whether workers are exposed to at least one form of dangerous work. These figures can be found in the new topics folder ‘Dangerous Work (from 2018)’. As a result of these changes, the figures on this topic from 2018 onwards are not comparable to those from previous years (2014-2017). Figures on the old topic ‘Dangerous work (until 2018)’ will not be supplemented from 2018. Changes as of 11 April 2019 The variable hazardous work was measured in a different way in 2018. When will there be new figures? The figures for the previous year will be published in May.
