资源简介:
Citrobacter freundii, an opportunistic pathogen increasingly associated with healthcare-associated infections, is drawing attention due to its rising antimicrobial resistance and genomic diversity. We performed whole-genome sequencing (WGS) on clinical C. freundii isolates collected from Tanzania and report the draft genome sequences of these isolates. The assemblies had a mean genome length of 6,853,182 bp and an average GC content of 51.43%. Notably, the isolates belonged to high-risk sequence types ST263, ST167, and ST116. Among them, ST167 harbored multiple resistance genes and virulence-associated loci, including espX1, ybtQ, and ybtP. These findings underscore the importance of genomic surveillance for emerging C. freundii lineages in Tanzania.
