Dataset Editor-in-Chief: Jin Tian. Ultra-wideband Radar Human Motion 4D Imaging Dataset (UWB-HA4D) 1.0: A total of 2757 sets of ultra-wideband MIMO radar human motion 4D imaging data are released. This dataset is acquired through detection and imaging using an ultra-wideband MIMO radar system. The radar operates in the frequency band of 1.78–2.78 GHz, employs stepped-frequency signals as its transmission scheme, and is configured with a 2-dimensional MIMO array layout with 10 transmitters and 10 receivers. Motion data from 11 human subjects are collected in this dataset, covering 10 common motion types including standing, sitting, waving, punching, walking, kicking, and so on. Three data collection scenarios are designed: unobstructed free space scenario, 3 cm-thick plastic board-obstructed scenario, and 27 cm-thick brick wall-obstructed scenario. For this dataset, the motion data of 9 subjects in the free space scenario are designated as the training set, while the motion data of the remaining 2 subjects serve as the test set; the human motion data collected in the two obstructed scenarios are also categorized as the test set. Detailed data annotation information can be found in the accompanying paper. The radar data in this dataset has a dimension of 40×64×64×64, where 64×64×64 represents the size of a single 3D radar image, 40 is the number of frames of such 3D images, and the data is stored in .mat format.
