资源简介:
The study explores the effect of prebiotic seed coatings on the microbial community dynamics and diversity in the rhizosphere soil of plants, using metagenomics techniques. The prebiotic coating, made from a mix of nutrients like Murashige and Skoog medium, chitosan, glycerol, beef extract, and others, led to significant shifts in microbial composition compared to control samples. The treated soil showed an increased prevalence of beneficial microbial groups, including Proteobacteria, Acidobacteria, and Actinobacteria, with a notable enrichment of Candidatus solibacter. This bacterium is particularly important for its role in organic matter decomposition and methane metabolism. This treatment resulted in a more balanced microbial community, potentially enhancing soil nutrient cycling and plant growth. These findings highlight the potential of prebiotics in promoting a healthier and more resilient soil ecosystem, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional agricultural inputs.
