in this study, ferroferric oxide (Fe3O4) was chosen as a conductive material, and dosed in an anaerobic wastewater treatment reactor fed with tryptone to clarify its effects on system performance and microbial community. In addition, effects of Fe3O4 dosage on DIET, AHLs types and concentrations, and microbial morphology were also examined.
