Viscoelastic Response of HDPE 4710 Rings: Diametral Load Relaxation Dataset

This dataset includes measurements from diametral load relaxation tests conducted on HDPE 4710 pipe rings. Technicians imposed a controlled vertical deflection on each ring and recorded the reaction load over time using a calibrated load cell at 500 Hz. The file TestingConditions.csv lists the test ID, geometric properties of each ring, displacement ramp duration, and room temperature. Six files (RDXXLoadDeflect.csv) report the time series of imposed vertical deflection and reaction load for individual tests. Deflection values correspond to the vertical displacement measured at the midpoint of the ring height (i.e., half-ring deflection). The dataset also provides two supporting documents: ExperimentalSetup.txt, which describes the test configuration and procedures, and Dataset_Description.txt, which explains the file structure and variable definitions. All quantities appear in SI units. Users may multiply deflection values by two to estimate the total vertical deformation across the ring height.
