Dataset for: Temporal variability of 14C reservoir effects and sedimentological chronology analysis in lake sediments from Chibuzhang Co, North Tibet (China)

The dataset was obtained by lab analyses, from a 5.48 m-long core sampled from Chibuzhang Co, a lake in north Tibet, China, which contained two obvious obstacles: high reservoir effects and age reversals. We confirmed that a relationship bettween reverse ages and mean GS and carbonate contents, indicating temporal changes of 14C reservoir effects involved in carbonate input and meltwater or old material, which was suitable for sedimentological chronology analysis.本数据集通过实验室分析获取，其岩芯采自中国藏北地区的赤布张错（Chibuzhang Co）湖，岩芯总长5.48米。该岩芯存在两处明显的干扰因素：显著的储库效应（reservoir effects）与年龄倒转现象。我们经分析确认，年龄倒转与平均GS值、碳酸盐含量之间存在关联，表明14C储库效应的时间变化与碳酸盐输入、融水或老物质输入相关，该数据集适用于沉积学年代学分析。
