Biological effects were determined based on apoptosis induction in U937 cells assessed flow cytometrically. Formation of free radicals was traced by different methods. In extracellular milieu, different spin adducts were detected by EPR spin trapping method. In presence of cells, various intracellular fluorescent probes were used with flow cytometry. Moreover, the overall chemical activity of Ar-CAP was detected with Fricke dosimeter. Data are given as mean ± SD.
