SMAPVEX19-22 Massachusetts Airborne Lidar, Version 1

These lidar measurements were collected in April and August 2022 in the vicinity of Petersham, MA during the SMAPVEX19-22 campaign. This location was chosen due to its forested land cover, as SMAPVEX19-22 aims to validate satellite derived soil moisture estimates in forested areas. The two acquisition periods were selected to characterize differences during \"leaf-off” and \"leaf-on\" conditions.本数据集的激光雷达（LiDAR）观测数据采集于2022年4月与8月，采集地点位于美国马萨诸塞州皮茨汉姆市周边，相关数据获取工作在SMAPVEX19-22野外实验期间开展。本次选址的选取源于该区域的森林覆盖地表类型，因SMAPVEX19-22实验的核心目标为验证森林区域内卫星反演的土壤湿度估算结果。本次选取的两个数据采集时段，分别用于表征植被落叶期与绿叶期的地表特征差异。
