Anoxygenic photosynthesis across pH and temperature in Yellowstone National Park hot springs

Unlike oxygenic photosynthesis, the parameters constraining anoxygenic photosynthesis are unknown. We sampled diverse hot springs from Yellowstone National Park and sequenced 16S rRNA, metagenomes, we also collected geochemistry data. Our results shed light on the distribution of anoxygenic photosynthesis across pH and temperature space.
