As part of the doctoral degree "Analysis of Polyphenolic Content in Marine and Aquatic Angiospersm From Norwegian Coastal Waters", polyphenolic content in the aquatic plants Ruppia cirrhosa and Ruppia maritima was characterized and quantified by quantitative HPLC with UV / vis detector. In addition, antioxidant activity of crude extract and isolated compounds was determined by the method DPPH radical scavenging. Data are freely available for downloading.
