Microbiomes (16S) and fungi (ITS) were investigated in the roots of ‘New York Muscat,’ a popular cool climate grape hybrid cultivar, across three root types (ungrafted, ‘3309C’ and ‘Riparia Gloire’) at three root depths (0–15, 15–30 and 30–50 cm), as well as in the surrounding soil and in the roots of the cover crop, a fescue (Festuca sp.) grass.
