Gray mold is a worldwide disease caused by Botrytis cinerea infection, which spreads rapidly and causes damage. The pathogen mainly affects fruits, causing fruit rot, but also leaves, stems, and flowers, greatly affecting vegetable yields, and in severe cases, yields can be reduced by 20% to 30%, causing great economic losses to farmers. Hydroxychloroquine could inhibit Botrytis cinerea, while the antifungal mechanism is not understood. This RNA-seq data will provide an important reference for the antifungal mechanism of hydroxychloroquine against Botrytis cinerea (Botrytis cinerea ).
