Line of fish categories of rivers and bodies of water A Fish Category Ranking is a legal classification of rivers and water bodies according to the dominant fish groups. Article L.436-5 of the Environmental Code defines the concept of classification of Fish Category. The concepts of public/privacy and authorised fishing or not are not included in this division.
