Mechanical and electrical engineers, factor productivity measures, and firm data in US manufacturing industries

These datasets merge the information at the 4-digit industry level on the number of mechanical and electrical engineers with the total factor productivity measures, both from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. They are divided into three different datasets as each treated industry needed a different control group. There is also data regarding the status of firms in the industry (number of firms, establishments, firms size, etc.)本系列数据集整合了来自美国劳工统计局（Bureau of Labor Statistics）的两类信息：一是四位行业分类层级下的机械与电气工程师数量，二是全要素生产率（Total Factor Productivity）测算值。由于每个处理组行业均需对应专属的对照组，本系列数据集被划分为三个独立子数据集。此外，该系列数据集还涵盖了行业内企业的经营状态相关数据，例如企业数量、营业单位数量、企业规模等。
