SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS FOR DEVELOPING LOGICAL THINKING IN TEACHING MATHEMATICS TO PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS

This article analyzes the scientific, pedagogical, and methodological foundations of developing logical thinking and logical operations in primary school students during mathematics instruction, structured according to the IMRAD standard. The role of deductive and inductive reasoning, comparison, analysis, synthesis, and generalization in mastering concepts within the primary mathematics curriculum is highlighted. The article presents the results of a pedagogical experiment and practical recommendations for enhancing students' logical thinking skills through the integration of logical problems and non-standard tasks into the learning process.
