The molecular mechanisms that underlie the progression of T. canis infection in puppy livers were still not available. Increasing evidence has shown that non-coding RNAs (Long non-coding RNAs and circular RNAs) play crucial roles in regulating at various infectious diseases. In this study, we performed high throughput RNA sequencing to detect hepatic lncRNAs, circRNAs and mRNAs expression profiles in the livers of Beagle dogs infected with 300 embryonated T. canis eggs at three stages (12 hours post-infection, 24 hours post-infection, and 36 days post-infection).
