A natureza dialógica da interacção verbal: análise conversacional de sequências narrativas em alguns textos literários do século XIX e XXI

The human communicative activity was always determined, over the centuries, by the use of conversational strategies that the interactants put in place in order to exchange information through illocutionary acts, characterized by various discursive and narrative sequences employed to get communicative purposes during the verbal interaction. Through the analysis of four dialogues extracted from two literary Portuguese language works of two different centuries, we demonstrate how the conversational structures of verbal exchanges have not changed over the time, despite the different schools and literary currents that have occurred since the medieval times until the contemporary era. The text chosen are taken from the novels A queda d'um anjo and Amor de perdição: memorias duma família of Camilo Castelo Branco (1825-1890) and from the contemporary work Não há coincidências of Margarida Rebelo Pinto: the choice of these extracts was not random, but taking into account the use of dialogue as a conversational technique, between characters, by these authors who use it in their fiction works in order to involve more actively the reader on the reported events.
