The data in the files present a fragment of the results of the survey entitled "Deconsumption as an alternative trend of rationalization of behavior in the time of global economic crisis" conducted among the residents of Poland in 2023 as part of the implementation of research project no. 2022/06/X/HS4/01158 financed by the National Science Center in Poland. The list includes 9 selected statements describing the zero waste lifestyle (9R – Retnik, Refuse, Reduce, Reuce, Rehome, Repurpose, Repair, Recycle, Rot), 11 statements regarding pro-ecological and responsible attitudes and purchasing behaviors of consumers supporting the zero waste lifestyle (zero waste stimulants; from S1 to S11) and 11 statements considered unfavorable to the zero waste lifestyle (zero waste destimulants; from D1 to D11). The research sample consisted of 1,000 people. The survey was conducted among Polish residents over 18 years of age. The sample selection for the survey was random, representative in terms of socio-demographic characteristics of the Polish population, such as gender, age and province of residence. The survey was conducted using the computer-assisted telephone interviewing (CATI) method with the support of the research company ASM - Centrum Rozwoju i Analiz Rynku Spółka z o. o. The data will be used to conduct analyses and obtain conclusions in the article entitled "AN EMPIRICAL STUDY INTO THE ACCORDANCE OF ZERO-WASTE LIFESTYLE WITH CONSUMER PURCHASING ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIORS".
