West Tuggerah Lakes Landcare Support Stage 2

This project will continue to rehabilitate the western side of the Tuggerah Lakes estuary through further primary work and continued follow up works. Again, works will include bush regeneration activities (weeding, planting, erosion control) litter removal, minor stormwater treatment device maintenance and management of salt marsh. These activities will assist with improving the biodiversity of the foreshore, protecting threatened species and their habitats and improving community access within reserves where weeds currently inhibit access. Installation of interpretive signage and field days will aim to increase the local communityÍs knowledge and participation in natural resource management in the area.本项目将通过进一步主体工程与持续后续作业，对塔格拉赫湖（Tuggerah Lakes）河口西侧区域开展生态修复工作。本次作业内容涵盖灌丛恢复活动（除草、栽植、水土流失防治）、垃圾清理、小型雨水处理设施运维及盐沼管理。上述活动将助力提升滨岸带生物多样性，保护受威胁物种及其栖息地，并改善当前因杂草阻碍通行的保护区内的社区通行条件。项目还将设置解说标识牌并开展实地活动日，旨在提升当地社区对该区域自然资源管理的认知水平与参与度。
