The presentation service presents information on geology in the Free State of Saxony. He presents the geological solid rock units without depicting the Känozoikum in the cross-border region of Lausitz-Jizera-Karkonosze in scale 1: 100,000. The map service provided is an excerpt from the overall map. The INSPIRE-compliant implementation of the further map areas is currently in progress. Incomplete data on stratigraphy and/or petrography of individual surfaces are gradually completed. A uniform grey signature marks the incompletely attributed features. The map service is usable on a scale smaller than 1: 50,000 as well as in various attribute representations. The map work is one of 7 geological maps, which is provided for the territory of the Free State of Saxony in their own map services INSPIRE-compliant.
