Air quality stations in Austria as of January 2017

The report “Air quality stations in Austria” — as of January 2017 — provides information on the situation, on the measured pollutants and the currently used measuring instruments of all air quality stations operating on a legal basis in Austria: These are measuring points for gaseous air pollutants, particulate matter, wet deposition and dust deposition as well as the measuring points for meteorological quantities. The air quality networks in Austria are operated by the offices of the state governments and the Federal Environment Agency. In addition, the report covers the measuring stations for ultraviolet radiation, which are supervised by the University of Innsbruck on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management in cooperation with the operators of the air quality networks and the Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics.
