Environmental Ordinance- Closed landfill

A closed landfill is a landfill which has been declared closed by the competent authority. A competent authority may declare a landfill closed because the landfill of waste has ceased and the requirements attached to the environmental permit for that facility have been complied with. This file was adopted on 15 November 2023 by the Provincial States and entered into force on 1 January 2024 under the Environmental Law.
