An integrated multi-parameter geophysical database from active and passive experiments on Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain
收藏资源简介:
In 2007, an active multi-parametric geophysical experiment was carried out to investigate the internal structure of Tenerife volcanic island. The primary objective of the active seismic survey was to obtain a three-dimensional (3-D) structural image of the island. The experiment involved the deployment of a dense temporary network of broadband seismic stations and the recording of thousands of offshore seismic shots. Complementary geophysical datasets were also acquired, including high-resolution multibeam bathymetry, gravity, and magnetic profiles. Although the active seismic dataset has been previously analysed, the magnetic, gravity, and bathymetric data remain largely unexplored. Here, we present an integrated database that includes the original geophysical datasets, manually and automatically derived P-wave arrival-time picks, and seismic velocity and attenuation tomography models. We describe the experimental design, instrumentation, data acquisition, dataset structure, and processing tools, providing a comprehensive resource for future studies of the structure and evolution of Tenerife Island. The folders here represented are divided in: marine magnetic measurements, marine gravimetric measurements, bathymetric data, basic information provided by the Oceanographic vessel “Hespérides”, derived products (first P-waves onset, tomographic images in velocity and attenuation and others) and finally information on the seismic stations. As you could see the names of each folders are: 1.BATHIMETRIC DATA TOMTEIDEVS: description of the bathimetric data acquired during the experiment 2.GRAVIMETRIC DATA TOMTEIDEVS: description of the marine gravimetric measurements. 3.MAGNETIC DATA TOMTEIDEVS: description of the marine magnetic measurements. 4.SHIP INFORMATION TOMTEIDEVS: basic information provided by the Oceanographic vessel “Hespérides”: 5.SHOOTS INFORMATION TOMTEIDEVS: dectailed information of the shoots used during the experiment and their timing day by day. 6.SEISMIC STATION INFORMATION: information on the seismic stations deployment during the experiment. 7.TOMTEIDEVS PRODUCTS: descripton of the derived products. In dectail we describe (i)3D P-wave velocity model; (ii) Automatic P-waves travel time; (iii) Manual P-wave travel time; (iv) Seismic attenuation model.
