Linking the metabolically active microbial community shifts of an UASB and a hybrid bioreactor to improve the efficient removal for swine wastewater treatment

The aim of this study was to evaluate the microbial community shifts of a two phase anaerobic/aerobic hybrid bioreactor for swine wastewater treatment, correlating it to the total microbial community vs the metabolically active microbial community, also the functional profile and total microbiome were correlated against a UASB conventional reactor.
