Present study focusing on the microbial assemblage (both bacteria and fungi), and diversity during the active and maturation phases of composting process of Simarouba seed cake. the simarouba seed cake is the lignocellulose byproduct rich in plant nutrients generated during bio diesel industry and having phytotoxicity when applied as manure to the crops. So microbial decomposition or detoxification is the best way to efficient utilization and minimize the solid accumulation.
