Mitochondrial Genomics

The goal of this study is to investigate mitochondrial genomes and transcriptomes across multiple species to improve our understanding of mitochondrial diversity, function, and evolution. By generating and comparing high quality mitochondrial sequence data, we aim to identify conserved and variable genomic features, characterise transcriptional patterns, and explore how mitochondrial biology differs among taxa.
