Soil and vegetation data from a fire-affected temperate peatland-heathland landscape

These data were used to analyse the effects of a wildfire that took place on the 22nd of April 2020 in nature reserve 'Landschap de Liereman' in Oud-Turnhout, Belgium, affecting approximately 30 hectares. The data was gathered using a design of 15 paired burned and intact plots (n=30) across a peatland-heathland landscape. Plot coordinates are provided in the metadata. Vegetation cover of individual plant species was recorded for three consecutive years (2020-2022). Various soil parameters (bulk density, moisture content, pH, nutrient contents) were measured in both 2020 and 2022 and base saturation, cation exchange capacity and well as the individual exchangeable cations were measured in 2022.本数据集用于分析2020年4月22日发生在比利时奥尔德特恩霍特（Oud-Turnhout）的兰斯查普·德·利耶尔曼（Landschap de Liereman）自然保护区内野火的影响，该野火过火面积约30公顷。数据采集采用了泥炭地-石楠地景观内15组配对的火烧样地与未烧样地的实验设计（总样本量n=30），样地坐标已在元数据（metadata）中提供。研究连续三年（2020-2022）记录了各植物物种的植被盖度。2020年与2022年均测定了多项土壤参数，包括容重、含水量、pH值、养分含量；2022年额外测定了盐基饱和度、阳离子交换量以及各交换性阳离子含量。
