USING THE EXPERIENCE OF RENOWNED GUITARISTS TO DEVELOP STUDENTS' PERFORMANCE SKILLS

The article examines a methodology for incorporating the artistic experience of renowned guitarists—classical, rock, flamenco and jazz performers—into the system of music education. It is argued that the biographies, performance styles and interpretative approaches of outstanding guitarists should serve not as objects of passive admiration, but as effective pedagogical tools for developing students’ technical skills, stage culture, improvisation abilities and creative thinking. A step-by-step model is proposed, moving from analytical listening and comparative analysis to the targeted transfer of selected performance techniques into the educational repertoire, with emphasis on awareness, artistic taste and professional ethics.
