Koala Mapping Mackay, Whitsundays & Central Queensland Areas

Since 2013 we have been mapping both live and dead koalas in our region, we have seen a ten fold increase in koalas coming into care and this project helps to identify where the main colonies of koalas are, and assists us in returning koalas to their correct natural environment after rescue and rehabilitation.
This data is also shared with other organizations, Government Departments and Universities.
Everyone can help to conserve this unique species - by protecting koala habitat we are also ensuring the safer future for all wildlife

自2013年起，我们便持续对本区域内存活与死亡的考拉（Koala）开展定位记录与普查工作。此间，被救助管护的考拉数量增幅达十倍；本项目可助力明确考拉主要种群的栖息分布区域，并协助我们在考拉经救援与康复治疗后，将其放归至原生自然栖息地。
本数据集亦会向其他社会组织、政府部门及高等院校开放共享。
