Examination results per subject of secondary school pupils (from 01-09-2006)

The file contains information on the subjects that these pupils have done and the grades obtained for these subjects. The file contains subjects of exam candidates who have passed or rejected/failed. There are no subjects in the file of pupils who are still in a third period (a student has a third period, when due to special circumstances (e.g. illness) for some subjects no examination has been taken in the first (May) and/or second (June) period), have taken a staggered examination or have only obtained a partial certificate. Also, no exam data is known for: — students within the International Baccalaureate. The CBS has no data on the examination results of the pupils within the International Baccalaureate, because they are not registered in the Netherlands; — pupils within the English Stroom (English and Dutch-speaking international secondary education at havo level for pupils with a foreign or Dutch nationality, whose parents work in the Netherlands or abroad for a certain period of time). The CBS has no data on the exam results of the students within the English Stroom, because they are not registered in the Netherlands; — pupils in the assistant training of vocational education and practice (or other special education). These students do not take a final exam. This component is available from school year 2006/& #039;07. PLEASE NOTE: The reference year in the name of the stock indicates the year from the start of the relevant school year. For the exams of, for example, school year 2006/'07, this is & 2006 ' but these exams are usually taken in May 2007. In school year 2019/'20, due to the corona crisis, the central exams did not pass and the diploma &s were given based on the results of the school exams. Pupils were allowed to take a maximum of 2 result improvement tests, which counted 50 % for the final grade (unless the grade was lower than that of the school exam). Vmbo-b and vmbo-k were also allowed to make a result improvement test for their professional profile subject. The figures of any result improvement tests are included in the average figure. A box can appear under different box codes. For example, the box 'Dutch ' fall under code 0010='Dutch language and#039;0011='Dutch language '1001=and#039;Dutch language and literature '1041='Dutch language without literature ' or 1062='Dutch language ' (stand in 2017). New codes may be added every year.
