GRENE-TEA Model Intercomparison Project dataset

The model intercomparison project (GTMIP), conducted as part of the terrestrial branch of the Japan- funded Arctic Climate Change Research Project (GRENE- TEA. 2011-2015), which aims to clarify the role and function of the ter- restrial Arctic in the climate system and assess the influence of its changes on a global scale, is designed to (1) enhance communication and understanding between the modelling and field scientists and (2) assess the uncertainty and variations stemming from variability in model implementation/design and in model outputs using climatic and historical conditions in the Arctic terrestrial regions. The dataset contains the common atmosphric forcing data and the simulated data from the partipating models.本模式比较计划(Model Intercomparison Project, GTMIP)作为日本资助的北极气候变化研究项目(GRENE-TEA, 2011-2015)的陆地分支项目，旨在阐明北极陆地区域在气候系统中的作用与功能，并评估其变化对全球尺度的影响。该计划的设计目标包括：(1) 增进模式研发与实地观测科学家之间的沟通与相互理解；(2) 基于北极陆地区域的气候与历史条件，评估因模式实现/设计差异以及模式输出变异性所引发的不确定性与变化。本数据集包含通用大气强迫数据(atmospheric forcing data)以及参与模式的模拟结果。
