Rethinking Empowering Leadership: A Critical Analysis of Its Role in Enhancing Employee Creativity through Mediated and Moderated Dynamics

This study critically re-examines the role of empowering leadership in enhancing employee creativity, adopting an interactionist perspective. It aims to bridge the gap in existing research by exploring the intricate interplay of personal and contextual factors, particularly focusing on the mediation effect of perceived job autonomy and the moderation impact of supervisors' creative expectations.
