Most important factors when designing a security device for firms worldwide 2023

During a 2023 survey, when asked about the key factors regarding purchasing decisions for device design, over half of respondents among physical security professionals worldwide considered product durability with a lifecycle perspective as a very important criterion. Ensuring that the design would reduce energy consumption was another very important factor when making purchasing decisions, as reported by more than 40 percent of respondents. Overall, nearly 90 percent of respondents highlighted energy-saving modes or technology as an important or very important factor when making purchasing decisions for device design.
