Solar PV Pump details in India

Under Off-Grid and Decentralized Solar PV Applications Programme, Ministry has been providing Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for deployment of Solar Street lights, Solar Study Lamps, Standalone Solar Pumps, Solar Power Packs and other off-grid solar applications to meet out the electricity, water pumping and lighting needs of the local communities/institutions/individuals in the rural areas. Programme is being implemented mainly through State Nodal Agencies (SNAs). Over 2.46 lakh solar pumps have been installed under the programme till 31.12.2019. Out of 96,376 pumps sanctioned during 2017-18, state-wise details of the pumps installed (77,860) are shown in the map.
